UAE-based Lulu Hypermarket recently inaugurated an outlet in Ibri, Oman. The new hypermarket, spread across 150,000 sqft, features a department store, a supermarket and 15 other stores including telecom and mobile counters, pharmacy, money exchange, fashion accessories and opticals, among others.
“It is with immense pride and great pleasure that we have opened our 106th store. The store is a token of our appreciation as well as our commitment to the people of Oman. The visionary leadership of His Majesty Sultan Qaboos and the support of his government have made Oman a platform that has nurtured our growth. It has successfully become one of the most attractive investment destinations in the Middle East. The pro-market stance, policies that promote an environment conducive for business and the local workforce give us the confidence to invest a lot more in Oman. We have many more interesting projects in the pipeline that will continue to fuel our growth here. The overwhelming responses we have received here reflect the potential and promise that our Ibri outlet holds,” says Yusuffali MA, managing director of EMKE Lulu group of companies that owns the Lulu Hypermarket chain.
“The layout and the ambience of the new store ensure a clutter-free and hassle freeshopping experience. With contemporary interiors and an international layout, the new outlet will offer customers an expansive retail experience. It will be a great experience for our customers from in and around Ibri to avail a wholesome package of great brands at attractive prices and meaningful offers, all of which has become synonymous with the LuLu name,” adds Ananth AV, regional director of Lulu – Oman.
