Iconic announces aggressive expansion plans in the Kingdom

Dubai-based fashion and lifestyle retailer Iconic, part of Landmark Group, has announced ambitious multimillion dollar expansion plan in Saudi Arabia. “The response to the brand has been absolutely fabulous, and I am looking to really expand the brand across the Kingdom in the next three-to-five years in a very aggressive manner,” says Iconic business head Nisha Jagtiani, adding that the brand will have some 30 stores in Saudi Arabia within the next three years.

Currently Landmark Group/Al-Bandar Trading owns and operates some 650 stores across the Kingdom. Plans are afoot to undertake massive expansion of Iconic as a high street brand in Saudi Arabia. “We know a lot of fashion brands are available in Saudi Arabia. Yet I believe there is a gap in the market for someone who understands that the consumer is very fashionable and likes brands available at affordable price points,” she observes.

“To be honest, I wanted to thank the Saudi consumers as it is because of them we really managed to grow in Saudi Arabia, with the Kingdom being a really important market for Iconic and the Landmark Group as a whole,” remarks Jagtiani while expressing her gratitude towards the Saudi customers.
