Splash, the high street brand launched in-house by the Dubai-based Landmark Group in 1993, turns 24 this March. It has travelled to 14 countries across the world with its network of over 240 stores and a recently launched e-commerce site. It nurtures and grows its 4,000+ employees as responsible stakeholders, gaining the fourth spot in ‘Great Places to Work 2016’ in the UAE, and the sixth spot in Saudi Arabia.
Raza Beig, CEO Splash & ICONIC and director, Landmark Group, is the brand’s chief architect, literally launching and growing Splash through its different development phases.
Rupkatha Bhowmick met Beig to find out what makes the brand so special and the CEO so well loved.
She discovers how Beig still goes to the shop-floor whenever possible, standing for hours observing customers, trying to understand their vibe, also spending quality time with his team to make it the winning combination it is.
