Improved car park access at Mall of the Emirates

With the work on Mall of the Emirates’ car parking area nearing completion, the facility is expected to open for visitors soon.

Starting November till the end of 2014, Mall of the Emirates will be opening up increasingly larger areas of its car park on the ground floor and upper levels, meaning less diversion, greater accessibility and more car park spaces.

By mid-2015, Mall of the Emirates’ ongoing redevelopment project will also reveal a new car park deck on a new Level 4, unveiling 1,300 new car park spaces for added convenience.

According to the mall, its current car park works are in support of Dubai Municipality’s new safety regulations requiring buildings to be more prepared during seismic activity. Large, structural pillars have been erected to support the mall’s multiple levels, ensuring added stability during ground movement. With all ground floor works to be completed by year’s end, customers can expect ease of navigation and easily found car park spaces week on week in the lead-up, as the focus shifts to more concentrated works on the mall’s upper levels.

In the interim, Mall of the Emirates is also encouraging visitors to head directly to Level 3, under the shade of Ski Dubai’s slope – an area that is construction free.
