Indian PM visiting the UAE discusses investment opportunities with NRIs

Marking the first prime ministerial visit to the UAE in 34 years, honourable Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi met the top non-resident Indian (NRI) investors today and got briefed about the various projects they are investing in India.

 

The businessmen led by Abu Dhabi Chamber director board member Yusuffali MA who updated the PM about the prevailing business scenario in the UAE and also about the challenges faced by them to invest in India.

 

In response Indian PM urged them to renew their efforts to bring in more investments into India, particularly in the infrastructure and related fields and also highlighted the role of ‘Make in India’ for the future generation of Indians.

 

Notably, while India is the UAE’s second largest trade partner, the UAE is India’s third largest trade partner.
