INGIE Paris flagship boutique opens at The Dubai Mall Fashion Avenue extension

Luxury fashion brand INGIE Paris have opened their doors to the first Dubai flagship boutique, at The Dubai Mall’s newly launched Fashion Avenue extension. This comes after the opening of its first mono-brand store in Kuwait in 2013, followed by Abu Dhabi and Riyadh in 2016.

“I am very proud to open this new boutique, the pearl of my current network, also to be a precious laboratory for my forthcoming ventures in Europe,” says Ingie Chalhoub, Etoile Group president and managing director, and founder of INGIE Paris.

Set up in 2009 by Ingie Chalhoub, INGIE Paris develops prêt à porter collections in her Parisian workshops. With four collections a year, Chalhoub proposes day wear, cocktail dresses, evening dresses and accessories, for women. The new store reflects perfectly both the segmentation of its collections (daywear, cocktail and eveningwear) as well as the arty glam style, which is part of its DNA.

Alongside the existing permanent collections of INGIE Paris, the boutique will also showcase exclusive jewelry pieces and bags, only available at The Dubai Mall.

Designed by French architects Pierre Beucler and Jean Christophe Poggioli, the INGIE Paris boutique boasts an elegant, convivial environment with a unique inspired façade and carefully curated interior space.

A pearl indeed, and the façade of the new flagship is the first noticeable element of the store inspiration from this oceanic gem, with an exterior of stunning white marble shrouded in a composition of champagne hued iron clad circles, inspired by the ‘perfect round’.

The store is consciously, curvaceously and creatively mapped with specially designated circular sections for prêt-à-porter and accessories, evening wear including cocktail dresses and the ‘Grand Soir’ salon featuring evening gowns. From the marble flooring, mirrored panels and the artistically textured and composed handmade walls to the more exclusively designed furniture and fixtures, including the Porta Romana Orbit Chandelier in the prêt-à-porter space, the first flagship INGIE Paris boutique exudes effortless luxury and sophistication.

The division of space has been both intelligently and creatively thought out. Each inner ‘salon’ dedicated to a different INGIE Paris collection, is cleverly separated by champagne-hued see-through circular metal wall panels, connecting the inner store design back to the original inspiration of Ingie Chalhoub, first seen on the façade with additional interior elements of warm metabolised wall panels in silver patchwork and soft leather accents.

The interior colour theme is a mix of beige, soft greys, white and champagne, exuding a chic and minimalistic neutral environment for the INGIE Paris collections to take center stage. Private dressing rooms are treated in leather and mirror with soft wool carpets, while there are on-site tailoring and fitting services, always to hand.
