Norway-based paint and coatings manufacturer Jotun Paints has opened its latest ‘Inspiration Centre’ in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. The 5380 sqft centre, which is Jotun’s biggest outlet in the Middle East, has been developed in partnership with IMBA Trading Contracting Co.

The store is aesthetically decorated with high quality interior finishes and LED TV’s for promotional videos, and it features an array of themes, concepts, colour bars and sample displays in different environments like bedroom, dining and living.

The outlet offers services like ‘Supply and Apply,’ a concept where Jotun will not only provide the paint to be used but also offer professional advice and panting services; the ‘Colour Bar,’ which presents a total of 960 colour samples; and the ‘Colour Advisor,’ where customers can choose from a colour palette on display and see how the colours will look in different environments, furniture settings and under different lighting conditions.

Jotun aims to expand its retail operations by opening 10 more outlets in the UAE in 2013, targeting a 15% growth in retail sales in the UAE this year.

“At our outlets we are creating a whole new experience for our customers; we are creating an environment that will inspire new ideas about the way they can beautify their walls, and in turn increase footfall in our stores by selling innovations. Customers can also benefit from the services of our decorative expert who could guide them through the decision making process, with the underlining objective of offering only the best product and service,” says Biren Arora, general manager – UAE, Jotun Paints.
