Online shopping and lifestyle destination for modern Middle Eastern women KOOOT.com has announced Postaplus as its logistics partner. Postaplus will handle all current logistical needs of KOOOT.com, including delivering to customers in the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia.

Future expansion is planned to Oman and other countries in the Middle East. All plans for expanding KOOOT’s geographical footprint are based on market study to understand the nature and demands of every new market.

“There are four foundations we have defined to guarantee the best online shopping experience: supplying products that fit the desires of our market, maintaining a smooth and convenient shopping experience, providing great customer service and guaranteeing the highest standard of information and payment security. Hence, it is crucial to choose the logistics partner that will contribute to fulfilling KOOOT’s mission,” explains Luma Jasim Bourisly, founder and CEO of KOOOT.com.

In celebration of KOOOT’s one year anniversary this month, KOOOT, in partnership with Postaplus, is now providing reduced shipping rates to its customers in the UAE, Kuwait, Bahrain and Saudi Arabia. Customers in Oman can also look forward to shopping at KOOOT.com from the third quarter of 2017. Furthermore, KOOOT.com will continue to provide payment options that fit customers’ needs. A customer can either pay by credit card online or pay by cash upon delivery. KOOOT’s partnership with Postaplus makes online shopping as easy and convenient as can be for customers.

Postaplus stands out as an end-to-end logistics provider designed to fulfil the needs of a growing online shopping sector in the region. It does not simply provide logistic services, but surpasses that by providing complementary 360 services including a customer service centre, delivery traffic control, storage services, inbound and outbound shipping and inventory supervision.

Hisham Albahar, CEO of Postaplus, strongly believes in pursuing synergistic partnerships that allow businesses to leverage technology more effectively and create opportunities for growth. “The need of the moment and of the future is to have new improved innovative logistics business models which cater to needs of customers. And here at Postaplus we have been able to keep pace with changing consumer preferences. From meeting customer expectations to customer communication to real-time visibility to optimisation techniques every aspect is taken into account. Partnering with KOOOT.com will assure its clients a gratifying shopping experience ahead,” he adds.

Postaplus’ vision complements KOOOT’s vision, especially in terms of regional expansion. After more than a decade of operations based in Kuwait, Postaplus, formerly knowns as Speedex, moved its headquarters to the UAE in May 2017. From the UAE, Postaplus has become a regional name in logistics services. Postaplus has also increasingly sought to support the e-commerce sector, which now makes up a large portion of its partners. Its repertoire of reputable businesses, including SOUQ.com, Zain, ooreedoo, NBK, JollyChic, Alshaya, Alghanim and many other giants in the GCC region, is a testament to the trust gained by Postaplus.
