French restaurant La Petite Maison in Dubai, located in Dubai International Financial Centre, will turn eight this month on October 24.
La Petite Maison first opened in the heart of old Nice on the southern coast of France in 1988. It was brought to the UAE by the Waney family and Chef Patron Raphael Duntoye in 2010. Inspired by a city renowned for culinary traditions, La Petite Maison’s timeless fusion food blends French-Mediterranean and Italian Ligurian flavours, which have evolved over many years.
“I think the secret for the success of a restaurant is to do things like it was your first day,” says Duntoye. “A lot of brands come to Dubai and think they can survive by just carrying a famous name. But the number of restaurants in the UAE means you must stay on the top of your game.”
“In La Petite Maison we make every guest feel like a celebrity. Underscoring our service is the brand’s motto, ‘Tous célèbres ici’ (or ‘we are all celebs here’). It’s been a pleasure to serve our guests for the past eight years and the best is yet to come,” adds Frank Serroul, general manager, La Petite Maison Dubai.
The award-winning French restaurant has also spread to Abu Dhabi, London and Hong Kong located in H Queen’s building on Stanley Street.
