Landmark Group to open Oasis Mall in Sharjah

Retail conglomerate, Landmark Group is expanding its shopping mall portfolio with its first Oasis Mall in Sharjah. This is the Group’s tenth mall in the region.

“I am delighted to announce that our first mall in Sharjah will open its doors to its customers in April 2019. We recently opened malls in Oman (Sohar) and Bahrain (Juffair) and now with the addition of this mall, we are expanding our footprint to 10 malls across 4 countries. In line with our brand promise, the mall will cater to the local community and serve our customers with a complete and convenient retail experience, where they can shop, meet and socialise,” says Aarti Jagtiani, group director, Landmark Group.

Expected to open later this month, the mall is conveniently located on Al Wahda Street, the prominent retail corridor of Sharjah. Oasis Malls completed its 10th anniversary this March, marking a decade of retail excellence in the region.

With the commitment to be a one-stop lifestyle destination for families, the three-floor mall will feature over 45 retail stores – spread over a total area of over 650,000 sqft. It offers a mix of retail destinations, leisure, food and beverage outlets, salon & spa, convenience stores and banks, making it an affordable and convenient neighbourhood destination for the community.

Cinema operator Cinépolis promises to entertain its UAE guests with a 10-screen cinema including their renowned Cinépolis Junior, a dedicated kids’ auditorium with a play area and slide. This would be the first cinema in the UAE for Cinépolis after the already operational cinema in Bahrain.

With the Group’s home-grown brands like Centrepoint, Home Centre, Fun City, Max Fashion, to other well-known international brands like Carrefour, Vincci and Okaidi, under one roof, the mix promises to provide customers a fun, affordable and engaging retail experience. Adding to the retail offering, the mall will also have two casual dining restaurants and a 575-seat food court with over 8 quick service restaurants like McDonald’s and KFC.
