Retail conglomerate Landmark Group has launched a new footwear brand, Le Confort that aims to cater to fashion conscious consumers looking for comfort footwear that is also stylish in looks. Pegged under the global fashion trend ‘Comfort Fashion’, Le Confort introduced the latest collection at the opening of its flagship store in The Dubai Mall on June 25, 2019.

In its first phase of growth plan, the brand unveiled 10 stores across GCC in shopping malls including The Dubai Mall, City Centre Mirdif, BurJuman Centre in Dubai; Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi; and Bawadi Mall in Al Ain to name a few. The plan is to open 30 in the next five years.

Spanning 13,500 sqft, all the new stores will boast the uniquely designed brand concept that exudes a fine balance between comfort and style. Emanated by natural themed interiors with a pop of orange, the store is designed using natural elements like wood and pastel shades, making it comfortable for customers to browse through the trendy collection placed on under-toned wooden shelves.

Speaking on the occasion, Dinesh Shahani, COO, Landmark Group – Shoemart International, said, “Le Confort has an Italian soul, a Middle Eastern Heart and German Feet. Along with the launch, we are super excited for our first media campaign ‘Bends to you will’ which perfectly describes our core consumer’s benefit. Most global comfort brands have traditionally been built either for the western consumers and/or with outdoor sports inspiration, which does not meet the needs of the audience in the Middle East. Le Confort’s focus is to create comfort footwear that is relevant and stylish for the women and men of this region.”

“Wedges form a larger part of our footwear line, along with various types of leather products that are made in Italy, Portugal, the UAE, India and China, using the five reflex zones technology sourced from Germany. Adding to the regional relevance, our collection includes matching handbags that competes the look,” he added.

With popular styles elevated throughout, the collection will also include the brand’s signature capsule collection ‘Monogram’ that features footwear and handbags bearing the brands’ initials as symbols on the range. Much of the range uses German Technology that form an innovative contoured footbed, delivering comfort with gentle pressure massage of the selected reflex zone of the feet in every step.
