One of Dubai’s oldest shopping malls Al Ghurair Centre is now home to a multitude of cuisines – including fast-food and family dining concepts – as part of its new Dining District. Spanning over 91,549 sqft and located on the mall’s ground floor, the new Dining District houses 27 F&B outlets and can accommodate up-to 3,344 people.

Connected to Al Ghurair Centre’s shopping area, which boasts over 360 brands, the Dining District offers an eclectic array of local and international restaurants and cafes to its visitors through Michelin Star Taiwanese concept Din Tai Fung; Japanese restaurants Yakitate and Atisuto; Indian eatery Sangeetha, while more western influenced dining options are Gerard, TGI Fridays, Nandos, Denny’s, Jollibee, All the Perks, Krispy Kreme, Papparoti and Starbucks. Arabic offerings are represented by Kabaji Grill and Bestoon Samad, among many more.

“The F&B sector is becoming an increasingly crucial part of the retail business, therefore to maintain the momentum of our envisioned growth, and to enhance the quality of our offerings, we’ve accommodated the choicest restaurant concepts headed by world-class chefs and highly qualified staff,” says Sultan Al Ghurair, CEO, Al Ghurair Properties.

“Since, our mall is a popular destination for both UAE residents and tourists, it is very important for us to offer a wide range of dining options to cater to many different tastes. We firmly believe the new development will help us reaffirm our position as a vibrant lifestyle-focused and culturally diverse hub,” he adds.

Leveraging the mall’s heritage and prime location in the heart of old Dubai, the dining hub offers visitors both indoor and outdoor seating options, giving the venue a special appeal for those who want to dine alfresco during the winter months.
