Blue Rhine Technologies powers ENOC’s first ‘smart’ gas station

Dubai-based digital signage specialist Blue Rhine Technologies has partnered with Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) on the first ‘smart’ gas station in Dubai Internet City that will greatly enhance customer experience.

In the UAE’s first-ever smart gas station, Blue Rhine worked closely with ENOC on the design, planning and implementation of an array of 36 LED screens around the station.

The screens are unique and are used to display a mix of information for drivers that include weather and traffic updates, as well as tailored advertising content to customers. From the moment visitors arrive to the moment they leave, the screens enhance the retail journey and provide an engaging experience round the clock and year.

“We’ve supplied all the LED screens within the gas station that includes the four LED screens each on eight of the forecourt columns by the dispensers,” says John Joseph, sales director at Blue Rhine Technologies.

“Additionally, ENOC requested a 4m2screen at the entrance to the ZOOM convenience store and inside there’s also a 50cm-high LED curved screen that runs around the whole length of the store. As per ENOC’s request, we also have installed a large LED screen in the Auto Pro waiting room area. This means that ENOC’s customers are always entertained or informed in the most technologically advanced means possible,” he adds.

The project has been the result of long and close cooperation between the two entities. Working intensively with ENOC’s project team in order to innovate and constantly update its customer offering, Blue Rhine tailored a digital signage solutions package to fit an environment that experiences large retail footfall and provides one of the most state-of-the-art customer experiences.

Joseph admits that this was the firm’s first petrol station project, which is a departure from its usual retail or mall-focused operations, but prides itself on providing tailored digital signage solutions, whatever the client sector.
