Amidst growing concerns around the spread of COVID-19, US-based footwear brand Crocs is donating a free pair of shoes to healthcare workers in the US, including free shipping.
On the business front, like several other brands around the world, Crocs has had to take the hard decision to temporarily close its stores in the US, while online orders can be placed through Crocs.com.
Commenting on the situation, Andrew Rees, president & CEO, Crocs said, “We are in the business of comfort and our goal is simple – to help everyone be comfortable in their own shoes. To join the efforts to protect our employees, customers and public health, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close all company-owned Crocs retail and outlet locations in North America through April 2, 2020. Many retail stores in Europe are also closed in compliance with local regulations.”
In the Middle East, Crocs is part of retail conglomerate Apparel Group.
