Dalma Mall celebrates a month of innovation

Abu Dhabi-based Dalma Mall kick started February on an exciting note, as the Ministry of Interior’s exhibition highlighting different innovative ideas and creative inventions was brought to life at the mall’s central atrium.

Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president and prime minister of the UAE and ruler of Dubai, the exhibition ran from February 1-6 in recognition of the Month of Innovation and showcased a wide range of tools, gadgets, devices and much more.

Innovation enthusiasts came together to get an exclusive look at latest ideas and inventions that the Ministry of Interior exhibited. Several exciting activities took place such as fun games for school and university students, where prizes and vouchers were distributed to participants, alongside a live performance by a military band show.

Additionally, there were three police patrols, competitions and gifts to given to the public, activities for school and university students, as a special section honouring the ‘Year of Zayed’.

Some noteworthy innovations included 7 E – Fake Passports Detector, Rescuer Dolphin, Police Surveillance Drones, Fire & Rescue Supercar, Drone Simulator, Smart Lighthouse, Ambulance Simulator and much more. Dalma Mall personnel managed the event and handled all activities and competitions, and the Fazaa Department was in charge of distributing free vouchers, tickets and small gifts to participants, setting a fun and lively atmosphere for all to enjoy.

The UAE is going through a very exciting time of growth, and some key pioneers in the tech and innovation industries showcased their inspiring creations at the Ministry of the Interior exhibition for the Month of Innovation. This fun and interesting event has revealed how much potential the UAE holds.
