Labeyrie Fine Foods enhances warehouse operations with Zebra’s solutions

French company specialising in premium and trendy foods, Labeyrie Fine Foods has deployed Zebra Technologies Corporation’s MC9200 Android-based mobile computers to enhance its warehouse operations at its manufacturing plant located in southwest France.

To remain competitive, Labeyrie needed to replace its legacy Windows mobile computers that were used in their demanding warehouse environment. Supported by its long-standing partner Zetes France, a Zebra PartnerConnect Premier Solutions Partner, Labeyrie decided to embrace the latest technology and migrate to an Android platform by optimising costs and ensuring operational continuity by using existing accessories including battery cradles.

“Our partner, Zetes France helped us understand the benefits of using Android for our enterprise such as staying ahead of the technology curve,” said Vincent Lecat, Park scanners and printers administrator for Labeyrie Fine Foods, France. “We selected the MC9200 mobile computer for its compatibility with the previous MC9000 series accessories and its familiar form factor, which is well-known by our warehouse workers.”

With the MC9200’s 2D scanning features, Labeyrie noticed productivity and data capture accuracy improvements. Warehouse workers experienced less muscle fatigue and consequently better user comfort.

“This migration from legacy devices to the MC9200 has been seamless and expanded the efficiency of the front-line workers,” added Paul Barrial du Breuil, account manager, France for Zebra Technologies. “This has helped Labeyrie Fine Foods remain competitive and increase its performance edge.”
