Seafood Kitchen now open at The Pointe

December 18, 2018 | By

Seafood Kitchen, an internationally inspired seafood restaurant developed by Nakheel Hospitality, has opened its doors at the relaxed, sea-front venue The Pointe on Palm Jumeirah. This market-style concept has been inspired by the flavours and rich bounty of the ocean. It is a bright, contemporary space that reflects the best of the Mediterranean, served with an Asian twist.

A unique feature of Seafood Kitchen is the eye-catching display of fresh seafood presented in the main restaurant, with an emphasis on local, sustainable and seasonal varieties. Diners are invited to select their preference from the selection of fish, lobsters, oysters, crabs and more, taking recommendations from chef and his team, who then quickly prepare dishes to order in a range of techniques and styles.

Guests can soak up the sea air in this split-level restaurant with its two expansive outdoor terraces offering mesmerising views of Atlantis The Palm and the Arabian Gulf. Downstairs, the mood is buzzing and energetic, with an open kitchen. Upstairs, the licensed lounge area encourages a more laid-back ambiance. In keeping with its theme, Seafood Kitchen is decorated in a rustic, yet modern style reminiscent of a fisherman’s wharf, with brushed concrete floors, wood panelled walls and marine-inspired art.

Seafood Kitchen’s menu is a tribute to the ocean that seeks to set new standards in terms of premium, yet accessible dining options in the UAE. The restaurant works in close partnership with local fishermen to offer an array of locally caught, fresh fish. Beverages at Seafood Kitchen are cosmopolitan and chic, with an exciting menu of grapes, hops and signature cocktails and mocktails.
