Regional F&B operator YYT Food Corporation has announced rapid expansion plans across the MENA region. Operating across the GCC, the company expects to open 19 new locations by end of the year.

Owned by Global Capital Management, a subsidiary of Global Investment House, Kuwait, YYT Food Corp is today the operator of more than 146 food locations, with established international brands including Vanellis, Pad Thai, Teriyaki, Subway, Al Mangal Express, Tandori, Menchie’s Yum Yum Tree Brand and much more.

YYT Food Corp aims to achieve a new benchmark of 165 branded restaurants in the region, offering different cuisines from around the globe, including Italian, Japanese, American, Indian and authentic Arabic food. To support its growth path, YYT Food Corp aims to increase employment by 20%.

The company aims to double in size – stores and revenue – by 2019 and is passionately committed to delivering the best quality food, freshly prepared, at accessible prices in the QSR and aspirational fast casual dining spaces.

“Our team has an unrelenting passion, unparalleled commitment and a strong belief in our brand promises. We are proud to carry forward YYT Food Corp,” says Eoin Moore, CEO, YYT Food Corp. “We will continue to develop our brand strategy, while focusing on our core values of creating everyday food with fresh ingredients and vibrant energy for our customers. We are continuing to invest in a strong team at our head office in Dubai and in our restaurants, and predict that even in a competitive market we will grow consistently by delivering great customer experiences.”

The company will see a number of key milestones this year, including further investment in its brand portfolio, and the modernising of its Yum Yum Tree brand to a destination offering culinary and social experience for everyone. For the very first time in the UAE, YYT Food Corp. opened three restaurants outside of its traditional food court space, with a choice of Italian, Arabic and Thai cuisines at the same location. These will be featured at the new and exciting dining hub Al Seef on Dubai Creek, which will keep YYT Food Corp. firmly on track to reach its ambitious growth targets.
