LIWA Trading Enterprises selects Coniq as loyalty partner

Abu Dhabi based retail group, LIWA Trading Enterprises has selected Coniq, one of Europe’s leading CRM and Llyalty provider for retail destinations, to create an innovative new loyalty programme across its retail portfolio in the GCC. The loyalty programme, aimed to gain customer loyalty, is being called USRA (pronounced oos-rah) which means family in Arabic.

LIWA Trading Enterprises manages 20 international brands, including Gant, La Senza and Aspinal of London, to name a few. They have partnered with Coniq to design a programme which will operate in many of LIWA stores across the GCC.

Coniq technology has been integrated directly into LIWA stores’ point of sale (PoS) system. Customers can register for the programme at any till point and enjoy a seamless experience when subsequently earning points or redeeming them for exclusive offers. A second innovation is that customers pay a fee to join the loyalty scheme in return for access to exclusive welcome offers.

Data from the POS system feeds directly into IQ – Coniq’s loyalty platform, allowing LIWA to segment and target its consumers with the most relevant offers and discounts. With guidance from its experienced customer success team, this will lead to increased average transaction value and lifetime spend.

“With the retail industry in the UAE projected to grow by an estimated 16%, Liwa Stores are excellently placed to capture the thriving store-based market. Loyalty programmes provide a huge amount of insight into shopper behaviour that can be leveraged with Coniq’s technology to reap huge rewards,” said Justin Cagwin, general manager Middle East & EVP strategic growth for Coniq.
