Lulu Group launches Ramadan special deals and promotions

As the UAE eases pandemic restrictions and encourages the renewal of business and economic activities, hypermarkets and retailers are coming out with biggest ever Ramadan promotion campaigns. The leading hypermarkets group, Lulu today unveiled their multi-dimensional Ramadan Campaign with an exciting range of special deals, promotions and charity initiatives both for offline & online shoppers.

“This Ramadan is a big leap for both the shoppers and businesses, as it is the first festive shopping season in the so-called post pandemic era. We are leaving no stones unturned to make it easy, convenient, and full of savings for our customers and stakeholders. There will be more than 15,000 products from different categories on sale during the Ramadan period with discounts ranging from 30% to 50% across UAE” said  Ashraf Ali MA, Executive Director of LuLu Group .

During the entire Ramadan & Eid season, more than 15,000 products across all categories will be offered with up to 50% discount across LuLu Hypermarkets in the UAE. Many different targeted promotions will be showcasing various themes such as:

  2. Fruits & Meat Fest
  3. Healthy Ramadan – Focus on Organic, Vegan, Sugar Free, Free From range of products.
  4. Fruitful Deals – Fresh Fruits & vegetables
  5. Meat Market – Full range of Meats, Poultry & Seafood
  6. Iftaar Boxes – Easy & Convenient food boxes
  7. Ramadan Home – Special promotions on Home & Kitchen appliances and Home décor
  8. Big TV Majlis
  9. Eid Sale – Garments & Lifestyle products

To make the Ramadan shopping easy, LuLu has also launched the “Ramadan Kit” – boxes of essential grocery items being offered at the lowest consolidated prices. Made up of popular products like Rice, Sugar, Milk powder, instant food, jellies and custard mixes, fruit cordials, pasta, grains, oil and coffee and tea, the Ramadan Kits come in two sizes for AED 99 and AED 149.“All these special Ramadan promotions are available both in-store and in our online platforms. There will also be lots of daily deals in our online shopping apps which will make shopping more convenient and full of savings for our shoppers across UAE”, said V. Nandakumar, Director of Marketing and Communications, LuLu Group Director.

Keeping in the spirit of giving and making gifting easier, LuLu also launched Ramadan-themed “Shoppingift”, available in three variants of Dhs. 100, Dhs. 250 and Dhs. 500, wherein the full amount is available in the total card value and without additional charges for the card. Each card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and can be used multiple times in several transactions. Corporate & Bulk sales options are also available. Celebrating the Ramadan Spirit of Giving and Caring, LuLu has also launched a series of special CSR initiatives for the Holy Month in association with leading local organizations. Lulu has partnered with “Make-a-wish-foundation” which grants wishes for terminally ill children. Shoppers can donate Dhs.2 or more at Lulu cash counters towards this noble initiative.

“CSR is an integral part of business and especially during the holy month of Ramadan we have focused of giving back to our community. We are also launching special IFTAAR BOXES for sales as well as for donating to lesser privileged people”, said TP Aboobakker, Director of Abu Dhabi region for Lulu Group. To create an ambiance for people to meet and spend time with family & friends, Lulu will also be launching RAMADAN NIGHT SOUQ, in selected hypermarkets. These night souqs will have ample options for shopping, eating and cultural activities. Lulu Ramadan & Eid campaign will continue till Eid holidays.
