Lulu Hypermarket to open at Hili Mall

Al Ain’s Hili Mall has signed a contract with UAE-based retail conglomerate Lulu International Group to open a new 70,000 sqft hypermarket next month.

With Lulu’s range of attractive products at competitive prices, the new hypermarket is expected to drive a large segment of Al Ain population to the mall, especially from the Hili district and its neighborhood.

The signing ceremony took place in Abu Dhabi between Eng Saeed Sultan Al Dhaheri, CEO of Hili Mall, and Lulu Group chairman Yusuffali MA in the presence of Hany Abd El-Hamid, deputy general manager of Hili Mall and Shaji Jamaludheen, regional director of Lulu Group.

“The Lulu Group is a leading entity within the global retail industry and will be an important component of the Hili Mall. We are delighted to seal this partnership; and are confident that the new hypermarket alongside other internationally acclaimed retail groups such as Alshaya, Landmark Group and Kamal Osman Jamjoom, among others will be a focal destination which will be attracting more visitors to the mall. In turn this will pave the way for more collaborations to bring in other leading brands with the goal of raising the footfall at Hili Mall and fulfilling its duty of providing all products under one roof,” says Al Dhaheri.

“Opening Lulu Hypermarket in the beginning of September 2016 will enrich and diversify Hili Mall’s shopping experience, which is part of our committed strategy. The wide variety of products in Lulu Hypermarket will satisfy the need of a large segment of customers,” adds Abd El-Hamid.

“Our presence in Hili Mall demonstrates our commitment to be having a presence in all major retail landmarks across the UAE. Due to its distinguished location within Al Ain, Hili Mall offers an additional advantage to Lulu Hypermarket. We are keen to enhance our visitors’ unique shopping experience,” states Yusuffali.

“Hili Mall is an ideal venue to promote Lulu’s products to cater to the wide range of needs of residents in Al Ain and its surroundings,” says Jamaludheen, while explaining the factors that went into choosing Hili Mall for launching the hypermarket. “Our responsibility to customers visiting Hili Mall is to offer world-class services and products and we look forward to offering the highest quality products at reasonable prices, which are the hallmarks of the Lulu brand.”

The new Lulu Hypermarket at Hili Mall will feature complete retail offerings including full groceries line, home appliances, electronic devices, general merchandise and services ancillary to the business of hypermarket. Moreover, this expansive retail facility’s key component will primarily be on fresh fruits, vegetables, meat and seafood, all offered under one roof.
