A brand-new concept of Lulu Hypermarket recently opened at Festival Plaza, Al-Futtaim’s new shopping mall. The new store was inaugurated by Dawoud Al Hajri, director general of Dubai Municipality in the presence of Lulu Group’s chairman & managing director, Yusuffali MA and Al-Futtaim Malls’ group director, Timothy Earnest.

Spanning 56,000 sqft, Lulu Hypermarket at festival Plaza will provide customers with their everyday essentials, of which 85% is allocated to grocery food and fresh foods. This is the first time that Lulu Hypermarket customers can sit in and eat their freshly prepared food from the live stations offering fresh sushi, pasta and pizza as well as a large range of organic, gluten-free, low-fat and diabetic foods.

“We are glad to launch another beautiful hypermarket that will provide a world-class shopping experience not only to the residents living within the area, but also to the tourists and business enthusiasts coming to the UAE for EXPO 2020, the biggest event in the Arab world. Over the years of catering to different nationalities, we have seen the growing demand for internationally sourced products. This is why it will be our continuous commitment to offer high-quality products at the most affordable prices in the market,” said Yusuffali.

The new store joins the retail precinct that serves as a convenient and local lifestyle destination, consisting of a projected 120 stores in addition to key flagship stores including IKEA and Marks & Spencer. This is complemented by a 500-seat food court, upcoming 40 dining and eating options, a Stay and Play offering, family entertainment Kids Club and over 2,300 parking spaces.
