MAF malls in Dubai offer free Wi-Fi access

UAE-based developer and operator of shopping centres Majid Al Futtaim (MAF) Properties is offering free Wi-Fi service for visitors to its malls in Dubai. Guests at Deira City Centre, Mall of the Emirates and Mirdif City Centre in Dubai need to register only once at any of the three malls. Passwords will be sent via SMS to any local mobile number and the same details can be used to log in at all the three malls.

The Wi-Fi service at Majid Al Futtaim Properties’ Dubai shopping malls aims to deliver quick and easy access to information and social networking sites.  It will also eliminate data charges for those who are on metered data packages. Majid Al Futtaim Properties is currently working on a system, which will enable tourists to receive passwords to their international numbers.

“We currently live in an evolving technology era with a futuristic generation. Providing shoppers with wireless technology throughout the mall highlights how Majid Al Futtaim Properties’ shopping malls evolve to complement the lifestyle of our guests. We are excited to offer shoppers free wi-fi throughout the mall to provide them further flexibility and easy internet access while they are at the mall,” says Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, senior director – property management at Majid Al Futtaim Properties.
