City Centre Al Zahia, the newest lifestyle and retail experience to arrive in Sharjah is all set to open it’s doors to the public in March 2021. This follows an agreement between Majid Al Futtaim Properties and two of the region’s premier retail and hospitality organisations —Azadea Group and Landmark Group

This arrangement will see the leading regional retail companies introduce their extensive range of world-class brands and stores — including Zara, Bershka, Pull & Bear and Virgin from Azadea; as well as Centrepoint, Home Centre, Max, Emax, Steve Madden, Pablosky and Ecco from Landmark — to the soon-to-be-launched mall. As a result, City Centre Al Zahia will be set apart as a truly unique shopping destination enlivened by a diverse selection of retail, entertainment and lifestyle experiences for the whole community to enjoy.

Encompassing over 136,200 sqm of gross leasable space, 70 percent of the mall has already been leased; with a long list of internationally-recognised and home-grown brands making the eagerly awaited shopping centre their new home. Along with Landmark and Azadea Group’s portfolio of retail outlets, Carrefour, Yalla Bowling, Magic Planet and VOX Cinemas — hallmarks of the Majid Al Futtaim experience — will also add to the mall’s array of dining and entertainment options.

“At Majid Al Futtaim, we have always prided ourselves on creating great moments for everyone, every day. We aim to deliver satisfying personalised experiences that extend beyond transactional retail and enrich our communities in ways that people will cherish for years to come. We believe City Centre Al Zahia will accomplish that and more for the people of Sharjah”, said Shireen El Khatib, Chief Executive Officer at Majid Al Futtaim — Shopping Malls Business Unit

“We are very pleased to be partnering with Majid Al Futtaim Properties to expand our stellar range of brands in Sharjah, giving more people across the Emirate access to the variety and quality they not only demand, but deserve. City Centre Al Zahia is set to become a pillar of its surrounding communities. We look forward to playing an important role in helping to create unique and memorable experiences at the new mall for the people of Sharjah to enjoy”, said Said Daher, Chief Executive Officer at Azadea Group, commented

“At Landmark Group, we are motivated by our proud history — which stretches all the way back to 1973 — to accomplish more and raise the bar for regional retailing. Today, we operate over 2,300 outlets across 22 countries; delivering exceptional value to customers. We aim to do precisely that for the people of Sharjah, providing the Emirate’s shoppers the variety, quality and service they expect”, said Manu Jeswani, Group Director at Landmark Group

In addition to featuring social, theatre and sports hubs; the mall will boast professional and educational workspaces. Everything will be centred around a grand plaza, offering access to indoor and outdoor restaurants, kids play areas, and an art zone.

Al Zahia, Sharjah’s premier lifestyle destination, is part of the strategic partnership between Majid Al Futtaim Properties and Sharjah Asset Management. Upon completion by 2023, it will include a total of 3,700 homes; satisfying the demands of sophisticated and aspirational families eager to enjoy the best of modern residential facilities.
