Majid Al Futtaim’s City Centres Me’aisem, Al Shindagha, Deira and Mirdif have lined up exciting offers for the back-to school season, offering visitors the chance to win AED50,000 in scholarships; get complimentary medical consultations; take advantage of up to 75% discounts on school items; and shop at ease by dropping the littles ones at the new ‘Get Creative with Science’ stand, from now until August 27.

Ten lucky students will have the chance to win AED50,000 in scholarships each, as part of  Majid Al Futtaim’s ‘Back to School’ initiative, in partnership with the Dubai Shopping Malls Group (DSMG). To participate, visitors can shop in participating outlets at City Centre Me’aisem or City Centre Al Shindagha and spend AED200 to receive a coupon and enter the draw. Participants will be able to nominate a student up to the age of 18, studying in the UAE. Winners will be announced on August 27.

“Aligned with our vision to create great moments for everyone, every day, we are delighted to help families and little ones get ready to go back to school this month. Majid Al Futtaim’s unique initiatives will offer compelling discounts, fun and stimulation to prep for class, free medical consultations from professionals to improve our communities’ health and generous scholarships, which could change families’ lives,” says Fuad Mansoor Sharaf, senior director – property management, shopping malls for Majid Al Futtaim Properties.

Continuously adding value to City Centre Me’aisem’s communities, the mall’s City Centre Clinic will be offering complimentary pediatric consultations addressing vaccination advice, teenage growing concerns or obesity concerns, among other issues. Visitors need to spend AED200 at City Centre Me’aisem’s participating outlets to obtain a coupon, which will include instructions to make an appointment.

Parents visiting City Centre Al Shindagha will enjoy browsing and shopping at ease, while their kids – children aged 3 to 12 years – are having fun and learning at the new edutainment stand. To get a coupon and access to the Edutainment stand, parents need to spend AED200 at the mall.

In addition, to prepare for the back-to-school season, parents can head to City Centre Deira and City Centre Mirdif, as participating retailers are offering compelling discounts of up to 75% off on school supplies such as backpacks, books, clothes, shoes, electronics and more until August 25.
