Ahead of the Holy Month of Ramadan Jumeirah Mina A’Salam’s Parisian-inspired pastry boutique Margaux has collaborated with Emirati artist Abdulla Lutfi, a savant on the Autism spectrum. As part of this collaboration Margaux’s limited-edition Ramadan boxes feature Lutfi’s beautiful designs in his distinct black and white style.
Margaux’s curated selection of decadent desserts will come in boxes decorated with an assortment of designs from a local family to lanterns and crescents aligned with the spirit of the Holy Month. The boxes also come with a special touch of Jumeirah featuring its signature abra and Burj Al Arab.
Commenting on the collaboration as the first-ever local artist to partner with Margaux, Lutfi said, “Art is a powerful medium in our world and to pay homage to the Holy Month of Ramadan through my passion for art is truly an honour. It has been exciting partnering with Jumeirah Group on this design as they have helped me get one step closer to my mission of encouraging artists like me to find and share their unique style.”
“Jumeirah Group is committed to creating experiences that are not only unique but leave long lasting memories for our guests. We are delighted to have collaborated with Abdulla Lutfi this Ramadan on our limited-edition packaging. He has creatively bridged the connection between our Parisian creations and the Emirate’s heritage for this auspicious occasion, bringing our vision to life through his amazing attention to detail and iconic black and white designs,” added Chef Alexandre Dufeu.
