Mercato, the Italian themed shopping mall in Dubai, has partnered with Emirates Red Crescent to host a month-long charity donation campaign during the holy month of Ramadan.
The charity donation campaign ‘Share Your Blessings This Ramadan’ is an initiative to encourage shoppers to share their blessings with people in need during Ramadan by placing pre-loved items, daily necessities and non-perishable food in donation boxes placed at Mercato.
A dedicated donation box for toys will be placed this year in the donation area to encourage children to give back to other children in need and share the opportunity to have the joyful experiences that every child deserves. All donations will go towards ‘Toys with Wings’ in support of Emirates Red Crescent.
In addition, customers can visit Mercato’s charity henna tent hosted by Atyab Al Marshoud, wherein all proceeds will be donated to Emirates Red Crescent. Mercato will host Pop-up Markets showcasing the best home-grown labels by Emirati designers.
