Mercato partners with Emirates Red Crescent for Ramadan

To embrace the spirit of giving during Ramadan, Mercato mall in Dubai will partner with Emirates Red Crescent to host a month-long charity donation campaign for those in need.

The charity donation campaign “Share Your Blessings This Ramadan” is an initiative to encourage shoppers to share their blessings with the people in need during Ramadan by placing pre-loved items, daily necessities and non-perishable food in the donation boxes placed in the mall.

A dedicated donation box for toys will be placed this year in the donation area to encourage children to give back to other children in need and share the opportunity to have the joyful experiences that every child deserves. All donations will go towards “Toys With Wings” in support of Emirates Red Crescent.

In addition, pop-up markets in Mercato will showcase home-grown labels by Emirati designers. Shoppers can also buy Ramadan inspired home décor, handmade jewellery and much more all at the ARTE Market.

Visitors can enjoy complimentary coffee and dates in the relaxing hospitality tent from sunset every day until 10pm, courtesy of Patchi. In addition, customers can visit Mercato’s charity henna tent courtesy of Aster Pharmacy, whereby all proceeds will be donated to Emirates Red Crescent.
