MG Motors announces Ali & Sons Holding as new retail partner

UAE-based Inter Emirates Motors LLC (IEM), a subsidiary of Ali & Sons Holding LLC, has been appointed as MG Motors’ new official distributor.

IEM will launch showrooms in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, and Ras Al Khaimah in the coming week, with further facilities planned for by the end of June. The retail operation will be backed up by after sales service, including full maintenance support and parts and bodyshops.

Effective immediately, this new partnership comes at a time of record sales for the British-born brand across the Middle East. In breaking into the region’s top ten car manufacturers for the first time in the GCC in 2020, MG registered more customers than ever.

All valid warranties and service contracts for MG cars already on the UAE’s roads are unaffected by the change to a new retail partner.

“We have extremely high ambitions for the MG brand in the Middle East, and have been looking for a partner in the UAE who can share the same vision, understanding and desire to help grow the brand further. In IEM by Ali & Sons we are delighted to partner with a company that is at the top of its game, with long-standing experience in the automotive sector, and the resources to take MG to the next level,” said Tom Lee, Managing Director of MG Motor’s Middle East operations

“Ali & Sons has always been committed to national service and quality assurance by keeping the customer at the center of everything we do. Adding the MG brand to our portfolio is the next step in building on this tradition, with Inter Emirates Motors. Hand in hand with MG Motor, we aim to grow the brand through our shared passion for heritage, trust and unmatched experience,” said Mr. Mohamed Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, Managing Director of Inter Emirates Motors.
