Middle East buyers to get direct access to Chinese manufacturers

Abu Dhabi will host China Consumer Products Fair (CCPF) from 24-26 November 2014 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre – ADNEC. In its second year the event will feature 100s of Chinese manufacturing companies looking to connect, do business and supply  local and regional sourcing, buying and purchasing professionals from the UAE and Middle East’s retail chain stores, wholesalers and import export organisations.

“Where Far East meets the Middle East, is the slogan that best describes this year’s China Consumer Products Fair. Within the GCC, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) is the largest market for China made products and is China’s second largest trading partner in the GCC.  Currently over 10% of the UAE’s trade (excluding Oil) is with China,” says Gary Robinson, events director of MIE Events JLT.

“There are many small to large retail companies in the Middle East who would like to source a wide variety of products directly from Mainland China rather than through middle men or agents. The cost of sourcing a reliable manufacturer in China can be considerable.…  By visiting China Consumer Products Fair you have the ideal solution to these challenges,” adds Robinson.

The 2014 CCPF will feature a wide variety of product categories including: home electrical and electronics, kitchenware, home ware and furnishings, gifts and toys, sports equipment, leisure products, health and beauty products, office equipment & furniture, luggage and travel equipment, lighting, clothing & textiles, fashion accessories, ceramics and glassware and  automotive parts and accessories.
