Ireland-based mixed-use operator Kerten’s division, Kerten Hospitality has opened its first Ouspace – a coworking space – in the Middle East, with the launch of its serviced offices and business club in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

Ouspace Bakheet, located in the Bakheet headquarters, is an 850 sqm holistic coworking office space and business club offering tailormade office spaces for entrepreneurs, freelancers, remote employees and corporate businesses of all sizes for short- and long-term let. With premium, tech-savvy and elegantly designed facilities, Ouspace is curated to offer the best office solutions to meet the needs of individuals and corporates, encouraging collective growth.

Spread over two floors, Ouspace Bakheet is open, flexible and convertible, with private and shared office spaces, a business lounge, meeting zones and event rooms, as well as multipurpose social areas and a premium café to encourage connections and collaboration between members.

“As the largest economy in the Middle East and North Africa, with GDP forecast to grow by 2% this year, Saudi Arabia is becoming an increasingly attractive base for multinationals, small businesses and start-ups seeking to do business in the Middle East,” said Marloes Knippenberg, CEO, Kerten Hospitality. “Ouspace Bakheet enables national and international businesses, from large corporates and SMEs to freelancers and entrepreneurs, to establish themselves in the market quickly, with minimal overheads and flexible packages that allow them to scale their office space up and down as needed. In addition, our stylish design, technology focus and commitment to holding community events provide our ‘Ouspace citizens’ with extremely attractive workspaces.”

Significant investment is made in IT and Voice Technology at Ouspace, with complimentary in-centre Wi-Fi connectivity, simultaneous device connections, firewall security and network, scanning facility, unlimited local and national calls, personal voicemail and free audio and web conferencing. Various membership packages are available, from the duration of one-day to one-year, with move-in available the day after sign-up and the freedom and flexibility to go from renting a desk or an office to an entire floor.

“We understand the importance of customised business care within tight timeframes, and provide quality services, comfort and flexibility sought by our clients, whether they are based in Jeddah or visiting the region. Our sustainability-driven and well-being-oriented solutions, such as complimentary gym access and health and wellness events and partnerships, will cater to visitors, businesses, residents and the larger entrepreneurial group of people who opt for non-conventional and impactful ways of working,” added Knippenberg.

Members at Ouspace Bakheet will benefit from hotel and dining discounts and complimentary gym and Ouspace access at The House Hotel Jeddah, a mixed-use development also operated by Kerten Hospitality, which is set to open in Q4 this year.

In addition to the launch of the two Ouspace clubs in Jeddah, there are another 10 Ouspace developments in the pipeline including upcoming openings in Bucharest, Budapest, Cairo, Dubai, Istanbul, Marrakech, Riyadh and Tbilisi.
