Japanese luxury confectionary brand Morozoff recently opened its doors in the UAE with a store at the Wafi Mall in Dubai, located on the ground floor.

Launched in the UAE by the Emerald Star Group, Morozoff is a household name in Japan with around 1,185 outlets in the country making it one of the largest confectionery chains. It prides itself in being listed on the Tokyo stock market.

“The launch of Morozoff at the Wafi Mall, Dubai is a significant development for the group. We are confident of Morozoff’s success and plans are in place for expansion along with Emerald Star Group into new territories like the UAE, across the GCC and India. I am particularly happy to see a well-known Japanese brand get popular in this region,” says Morozoff president, Shinji Yamaguchi.

Among best-selling ranges at Morozoff are Feuillage, Odette and Petit Kouglof available in seven flavours, among others.

“The Morozoff story is all about exclusivity – the unique taste of our products and an unparalleled range. The flagship brand is of course Feuillage; it is the fastest selling product due to its unique taste with a crisp and slim texture. A popular option is our Gift Collection, thoughtfully created for all occasions: Eid, Christmas, Diwali, birthdays, wedding anniversaries and children’s events. You can also discover our delightful range of cakes. We keep creating new ones all the time. The secret of our brand leadership lies in the unique ingredients that literally melt in your mouth, making you want more,” adds Deepak Motwani, group CEO, Emerald Star Group.

“We see immense growth potential for Morozoff and our launch in Dubai is in response to the growing demand for exclusive confectionery in the region. Uniqueness is our biggest proposition. For example, the Arcadia range has no equal as a tea break snack. The light dough is delectable with a lavish helping of roast nuts crisply baked to perfection. It’s definitely one of Morozoff’s traditional specialities,” states Emerald Star Group COO, Jayesh Motwani.
