Mothercare offloads Early Learning Centre to The Entertainer

British maternity and babywear brand, Mothercare has, reportedly, sold its toy business Early Learning Centre to UK-based toy retailer The Entertainer for £13.5 million.

As part of the purchase, The Entertainer will inherit Early Learning Centre’s toy brands, including Happyland.

Mothercare operated the Early Learning Centre brand through 80 of its stores in the UK, in addition to online and in select international markets.
