Dubai-based digital marketplace specialising in mother and baby products, Mumzworld.com has announced the launch of their new eco-friendly category, Better Planet. Mumworld.com created the Better Planet category, as demand grows among families for eco-friendly alternatives or ways to do their bit in helping the environment.

Commenting on the new launch, founder and CEO, Mona Ataya says, “As an indispensable online extension of a mother’s life, it seemed only natural that we should also be your ‘go-to’ destination for all things eco-friendly. Mumzworld is a brand built with social impacts at its core, and with a philosophy that when you empower a mother to make informed choices, you empower her to raise great kids, which ultimately leads to changing the region, one mum at a time.”

The Better Planet category will give mums who seek eco-friendly options a space to do just that, with plastic-free, recyclable & reusable, organic, non-toxic and Fairtrade brands. There will be a wide range of products available, including compost bins, reusable lunch boxes, BPA free bottles, plastic free straws, toys, organic cotton clothing, nappies and natural skincare.

“Our Better Planet range comprises of the largest range of plastic free, organic, eco-friendly products across multiple child and mummy related categories such as school products, feeding, clothes, equipment and more. This range provides benefits for our consumers economically, socially and environmentally, while preserving public health. Importantly as with all our products this range is affordable and at an everyday low price. This initiative is core to the DNA of Mumzworld in building a sustainable future with our mother consumers,” Ataya adds.
