Nakheel announces the reopening of Dragon Mart

Nakheel Malls, the owner and operator Dragon Mart has announced the reopening of Dubai’s largest retail and trading hub. The well-known destination, known for its bulk-buy, discounted products for trade and consumers is back, proving a welcome relief to shoppers, and a boost to thousands of small businesses.

“Dragon Mart is one of the region’s best-loved venues for shopping, trading, dining and entertainment among people of all ages, from all walks of life. We are proud to have helped more than 3,000 small to medium businesses resume operations. The Dragon Mart website and social media pages have been inundated with queries about reopening, proving just how popular this unique destination is,” says Omar Khoory, managing director of Nakheel Malls.

“The reopening comes at a time when many people are closely monitoring their finances in the wake of the current global situation and will highlight Dragon Mart as the biggest and best source of quality, affordable goods for wholesale and the general public. The tenants at Dragon Mart, keen to restart trading and welcome back their customers, and are delighted to be back in business. 

The mart is operating in line with all government protocols with safety and wellbeing the priority. Before opening, it underwent extensive deep disinfection, and all customer service desk staff took Covid-19 tests. A sanitisation tunnel was installed for shop staff and delivery drivers, with more security personnel, brought on board for added safety

All shops at Dragon Mart are now open, although entertainment outlets such as the cinema, rooftop sports complex and Fabyland remain closed under the latest directives. 

Dragon Mart joins Nakheel Mall, Ibn Battuta Mall, Golden Mile Galleria and Nakheel community Pavilions that reopened during the last of week April.
