Nando’s reopens in Al Ain

Nando’s, South African-Portuguese restaurant chain known for its flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken, has re-opened in Al Ain. The re-launch of the Al Ain Mall-based venue – which comes after the completion of extensive interior design, layout and decorative works – heralds the beginning of a busy year for Nando’s.

“Nando’s Al Ain Casa is a key part of our nationwide UAE operations and we are very proud of the work that has gone in to it during 2018 – allowing it to open for business right at the start of 2019,” says George Kunnappally, managing director for Nando’s UAE. “We are committed to the vibrant food and beverage scene in the UAE and Nando’s has a rich history in the country. We look forward to many years of success by really bringing the very best of Nando’s to the market and our customers, both those who have been with us for a long time and those who are discovering Nando’s for the very first time.”

In the 17 years since Nando’s opened its first restaurant in the UAE, the company has continuously expanded year-on-year, with 22 restaurants now operating across the country in locations including Dubai, Fujairah, Ras Al Khaimah, Ajman, Sharjah, Al Ain and Abu Dhabi.

The restaurant, today, serves customers at some of the UAE’s most popular malls as well as standalone locations. Nando’s also offers a full menu of delivery options from its dedicated call centre and partnerships with leading food delivery apps.
