Nando’s to open in City Centre Fujairah

South African-Portuguese restaurant chain Nando’s, best known for its spicy flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken, is set to open its newest UAE ‘casa’ at City Centre Fujairah. Due to open to diners on August 17, the newest branch of Nando’s will be the company’s first restaurant in the eastern-most emirate.

The new restaurant represents a move by Nando’s into a currently under-served market within the UAE, with only a relatively small number of international restaurant chains operating in Fujairah as compared to neighbouring emirates. Customers are expected to travel from across Fujairah to experience Nando’s range of premium dishes.

The menu at Nando’s newest restaurant will serve its famous flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken dishes, refreshingly creative salads, burgers, wraps, desserts and bottomless soft drinks.

“We’re absolutely delighted to be opening our first ‘casa’ in Fujairah and we look forward to bringing our PERi-PERi flavours and Nando’s delicious family dining experience to our new customers in Fujairah,” says Suhail Gidwani, CEO of Nando’s UAE.

The new restaurant will be decorated in Nando’s unique mix of earthy textures and bright colours that perfectly reflect the international company’s sunny South African-Portuguese heritage.

Along with great food, a welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff, Nando’s customers can also view a host of original works of art by leading South African artists. The largest collector of contemporary South African art in the world, Nando’s proudly displays important and eye-catching works at each of its restaurants as a colourful reminder of its roots.
