Nestlé has partnered with the Saudi National Center for Corporate Social Responsibility to distribute one million Iftar meals across the Kingdom as part of its Iftar Sayem initiative.
The meals were distributed at key traffic intersections in Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam with an aim to reduce road accidents often associated with motorists rushing home to break their fasts. The campaign engaged over 950 trained volunteers to ensure the highest standards of safety.
“The Iftar Sayem initiative is a great example of how we can all come together to make a positive impact in our societies, especially during the Holy Month of Ramadan. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Saudi National Center for Corporate Social Responsibility and to the volunteers who made this initiative possible,” stated Robert Helou, General Manager Nestlé KSA, Bahrain and Oman.
