Noon announces “Yellow Friday” sale

UAE homegrown marketplace, Noon.com has announced its Yellow Friday sale from November 23 to 29.

The Yellow Friday Noon deals will extend to Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Egypt with thousands of brands providing the most extensive range. The promotional campaign this year is expected to be its largest yet, with an array of bundles, raffles, price crashes, and flash sales, and an 11/11 sale on November 11.

“We’re the local digital marketplace, born to serve and support customers and businesses in the region. Noon’s Yellow Friday Sale is a time of the year we all look forward to it. It’s the craziest time of the year for us, and I'm so proud of the team who have been working tirelessly to give our customers the most incredible Yellow Friday experience to date”, says Maya El Ayach, Noon’s growth and digital strategist.

This year’s Yellow Friday Sale will come packed with offers from its portfolio of retail partners. It will include more local SMEs as well as major retailers in the Middle East that use Noon as a platform to expand their business offering online. This prospect has become even more prominent due to the pandemic.

“This year has been tough for local businesses. Through Noon they can connect with customers, generate revenue, and join a global retail event right here in the region. We’re looking forward to welcoming more customers than ever before for the craziest sale of the year”, says Kaushik Mukherjee, customer and seller excellence at Noon.

Customers using the Mashreq noon VIP Visa credit card will receive 3.5% cashback on all noon purchases and those using a Visa debit or credit card will receive 15% off their cart value.

Considering this year’s sale will happen at a time when safety is a primary concern for many, nearly 10,000 yellow noon vans will be on the roads, ensuring the swift and safe delivery of orders.

First launched in 2018, Noon’s Yellow Friday Sale is the flagship shopping event of the region’s leading digital marketplace. In 2019 noon’s Yellow Friday Sale surpassed all other Friday sales in the region. Noon.com is a joint venture between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund and Mohamed Alabbar, created to serve the region, empowering and championing local businesses with innovation, technology, and support.
