Printing brand OKI Europe Ltd will be exhibiting at FESPA (Federation of European Screen Printers Associations) 2019, scheduled to take place from May 14-17 in Munich, Germany. OKI will showcase revenue boosting solutions that focus on the print for profit market.

From a preview of a new addition to OKI’s White Toner Transfer Printing portfolio together with its unique alternative to Direct to Garment printing, to wide format and label printers, OKI will be showcasing its applications driven devices which enable print shops and creative businesses to access new revenue opportunities and extend their customer base by making traditionally complex, time consuming and costly processes quick and cost effective.

At FESPA this year, OKI Europe will demonstrate the impressive performance capabilities of its ColorPainter large format range including live car wrapping in partnership with Drytac. Car wrap will be printed on the M-64s and applied to a vehicle live on the OKI stand to demonstrate the vivid colour and quality including colour matching and media stretch-ability as well as outdoor durability. OKI in partnership with Sentec International and Berger Textiles will also demonstrate wallpaper (M-64s) and textile wall covering printing (H3-104s), highlighting the pin sharp detail and the blackest black on the market, perfect for high-end applications.

A key highlight at the OKI booth will be the recently launched Switchable Toner Technology for the Pro8432WT A3 White Toner printer, which enables customers to switch between CMYW and CMYK.  This will allow print shops to extend their service offering to print true black on light colour garments or textiles and material as well as the application of white toner on dark media so customers can capture additional revenue opportunities.

The new addition to the White Toner Printer portfolio is a real game changer in transfer printing and a true challenger to the Direct to Garment market. Positioned for industrial usage in particular as an alternative solution for the screen-printing market, this new device is yet another revenue generating innovation from OKI for short run on demand printing.

Also on display will be OKI’s Pro1050 Label Printer. This unique device delivers lucrative new revenue streams as the only five colour (CMYK+W) digital LED label printer on the market. The Pro1050 requires minimal set-up time, prints up to 8,000 labels per day and can easily switch between different media types with dark or clear label media printing capabilities, enabling customers to take their label designs to new levels of creativity and flexibility with a minimum volume of just one label.

Perfect for on-demand, ready-to-use cut labels, this CMYK+W Label Printer is equipped with LED dry-toner, which is resistant to water and alcohol solvents making it possible to produce labels which are suitable for freezer, outdoor and industrial use. With no label media coating or special lamination required, customers benefit from a lower total cost of ownership.

“We are delighted to continue our annual attendance at FESPA 2019,” says Pamela Ghosal, general manager, marketing communications, OKI Europe Ltd. “This year the theme at the OKI Europe stand will focus on pushing the boundaries of creativity and colour, which the fantastic range of innovations on display continually allow our customers to do. We are excited to demonstrate how OKI’s unique portfolio of graphic arts printers enables businesses across the print industry to access new revenue streams and customers, through creative new applications. We also look forward to launching an exciting new addition to our Pro Series White Toner printer portfolio at this year’s event.”
