Fahed Ghanim is the CEO of Majid Al Futtaim – Lifestyle. In his role, Ghanim manages world renowned brands across home, fashion, beauty, specialty retail and multi-brand concepts, while developing omnichannel expansion strategies for high growth markets and new concepts.

In 2018, Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle underwent a significant transformation, which presented an opportunity to enhance the company’s approach to operations. By redesigning jobs and workflows, they focused on humanising the business and empowering the teams to engage in insight generation, relationship building, intuitive decision making and problem-solving. Committed to leveraging the power of data and accelerating their digital capabilities, they redefined the customer journey to deliver a seamless, unique and personalised experience across their 18 online platforms and network of 67 stores across the UAE, KSA, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain and Oman. As a result, the company quadrupled in size and has since achieved double-digit growth year on year.

Ghanim joined Majid Al Futtaim in February 2018 as Chief Operating Officer for Majid Al Futtaim – Fashion. Prior to joining Majid Al Futtaim, he was General Manager Retail for L’azurde PLC, a Saudi-based jewellery company. This was the third business turnaround for Ghanim. He has led acquisitions, successful IPO, business transformation, new brand launches, development and growth of globally acclaimed fashion, home and jewellery brands including Bvlgari, Boucheron, Pomellato, Gucci, Harvey Nichols Dubai, L’azurde, LEGO, lululemon to name a few.

Ghanim is a board member of multiple organisations and holds an MBA degree with distinction from ESCP Europe Business School.

  • In 2022 Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle entered the beauty industry with Japanese brand Shiseido, first through an e-commerce partnership which saw an average monthly growth of 38%, and then opened the brand’s only store outside the Asia region in Dubai.
  • In 2022 Majid Al Futtaim Lifestyle launched lululemon in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and launched its online business, driving a 10X growth within the region in three years.
