The Pôlette Concept Store has been launched at City Walk phase two in association with the French Fashion Institute ESMOD Dubai to operate as a retail space for emerging designers and ESMOD Dubai graduates for designing, manufacturing, retailing, branding and marketing their collections.

Pôlette co-founders Tamara Hostal and Denis Ravizza were joined by City Walk general manager Gail Sangster for the official ribbon cutting, which was followed by a live fashion show with models showcasing Pôlette’s vibrant men’s and women’s collections designed by the likes of Canella Hostal, Freny James, Olivier Philips, Lilith and Love Triangle.

The store is located in the latest high-end fashion retail precinct of City Walk, Dubai and is the first and only retail start-up platform in the world to launch university students’ fashion brands.

“We are delighted to officially welcome Pôlette Concept Store to the City Walk family. The launch of Pôlette represents the level of talent and potential of our emerging, home-grown designers and is a positive driver of the entrepreneurial mind-set which this city aims to cultivate. It is wonderful to see platforms such as Pôlette in City Walk support the growth of talent in the UAE and help to propel young designers into their fashion careers,” says Sangster.

On their part, co-founders Ravizza and Hostal were inspired to give life to a concept store that acted as a platform for both emerging designer talent and established brands to showcase their wares.

“Alongside our designer collections, we also stock many exclusive accessories, fashion books, lifestyle and interior products, which we have handpicked from around the world and are therefore not easily accessible elsewhere in the region. This also makes Pôlette a very unique place,” adds Ravizza.
