Portugal will be guest country at the upcoming Madrid fashion events, one of the largest trade shows devoted to fashion and new trends in Southern Europe, to be held from September 10 to 14, 2014 at Feria de Madrid. As a guest country, Portugal will play a starring role at five different trade fairs, all of which are organised by IFEMA and represent a common platform for the latest new trends in the clothing, fashion design, footwear, fashion jewellery, exclusive jewellery, gift and home décor sectors.
This grand event for fashion and lifestyle trends will make up a unique trade forum, one where visitors can discover a highly attractive and comprehensive range of fashion ideas at first hand and at a single venue. This is the result of the concurrent staging of various trade fairs at the same location and on the same dates – Momad Metropolis, Intergift, Bisutex and MadridJoya – all leading events on the Mediterranean market in their respective sectors, in addition to Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid.
Thus, Momad Metropolis will present a multi-sector exhibition featuring clothing, footwear and fashion accessory ideas, based on the latest ideas for spring/summer 2015; Intergift will focus on the latest gift and decoration ideas; Bisutex will feature the latest trends in fashion jewellery and accessories; and MadridJoya will offer a series of fashionable and highly creative ideas under the heading of exclusive jewellery and time-pieces, all made with finest materials.
The show is expected to turn Feria de Madrid into a strong and highly effective business showcase, one that extends throughout twelve halls and features collections of some 1,800 brands. At the same time, 40 designers will present their latest collections on the catwalk. As a whole, these trade exhibitions are expected to attract more than 110,000 professionals from 70 countries.
