Ras Al Khaimah-based developer Al Hamra and Dubai Holding Group LLC have announced the opening of high street brand Zara at Manar Mall. Set to open during the first quarter of 2020, this will be the first Zara store in Ras Al Khaimah and 11th in the UAE.

The announcement was made at a signing ceremony attended by Sheikh Khalid Bin Saud Bin Saqr Al Qassimi, chairman of Al Hamra; Ali Bin Saeed Al Shamsi, chairman of Dubai Holding Group; Saeed Ali Saeed Ali Al Shamsi, director of Al Shamsi Holdings LLC; Benoy Kurien, group CEO of Al Hamra; Jean Michel Bolly, general manager of Dubai Holding Group; and Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi, chairman of Manar Mall along with other senior members of the management.

The new Zara store, spanning over 27,500 sqft, will showcase its signature range of womenswear, menswear, kids wear and accessories. The store will be a notable addition to Manar Mall, which was recently upgraded with an investment of the $125 million to enhance the shopping and leisure experience of visitors.

“We are pleased to open Zara’s first store in Ras Al Khaimah,” said Al Shamsi. “This is a strategic move that will further enhance Ras Al Khaimah’s lifestyle shopping experiences with Manar Mall serving as an ideal destination for the store. As one of the most admired high street fashion brands, Zara enjoys phenomenal popularity among the trendsetters, and the new store will offer easy access to more customers, especially in the Northern Emirates.”

“With the recent expansion and upgrade of Manar Mall, we are committed to further enhance the shopping and lifestyle experience of our loyal visitors at Manar Mall. Addition of Zara, and the other new sought-after brands to our growing portfolio of varied and popular brands will certainly add to the retail choice of our residents and visitors,” Kurien added.
