Ramadan Dining Round-up: Iftar and Suhoor offers

With Ramadan almost at it’s first week, we are wondering where can we savour an Iftar menu of traditional delicacies, beverage and desserts. A wide variety of dining options is connecting friends and family this Ramadan with their Iftar and Suhoor menu offers in different restaurants across the city. Here is a roundup of the best Ramadan Iftar options in Dubai. 

Jehangirs 

Modern Mughlai Cuisine restaurant Jehangirs is offering a curated Ramadan Special Iftar Menu that will be served in a combination of family-style and buffet serving. Priced at AED 59 per person for Adults and AED 39 per person for Children between 5-10 years old, the Iftar menu will be available from sunset till 8.30 pm available at both their branches in Dubai and Al Ain. Their Ramadan Special Iftar rotating menu includesWater Melon, Dal Shorba, Salad, Crispy fry fish & squid, Tabbouleh, Hummus, Fattoush, Channa Chaat, Pasta, Grilled Vegetables, Aloo Chaat, Kebabs, Fish Curry, Dal Tadka, Dal Makhan, Hyderabadi Biryani, Navrattan Korma, Rasmalai, Gulab Jamun, Gajar Halwa, et., to name a few. Guests will be served dates to break the fast.  Appetizers, drinks , Kebabs, Biryani, Bread and desserts will be served on the table, and there will be a buffet for salads and Curries.

 

India Palace Royal Buffet

Another authentic Indian restaurant, India Palace is serving a Royal Indian Buffet for Iftar. Priced at AED 80, the Iftar buffet will be available at allvtheir 12 outlets across UAE from Sunset till 10pm. It will include 8-10 varieties of Salad, five types of starters, six types of main course dishes,  two rice dishes, desserts, fruit salad, and a choice of beverages. Some of the menu highlights include; Samosa, Daal Chawal Balls, Chicken Kukurre, Nawabi Salad, Shahi Seekh Kebab, Biryani and more. “The menu is crafted keeping in mind popular Indian sub continent delicacies served the month of Ramadan. We have included healthy drinks to go along with a spread offering chaat items,salads,shorbas and daily specials pakoras served on the table. Dhaba Lane

Popular home-grown Punjabi restaurant Dhaba Lane that celebrates the tradition of Indian Dhabas has introduced a lavish 4-course Ramadan Special meal at AED 59 per person (Veg & Non-Veg). The menu includes assorted dates, RoohAfza, and Fruit platter to break your fast, followed by a four-course set menu meal that includes cold starters, hot starters, main course and desserts with dum biryani rice and assorted bread available throughout Ramadan and Eid Al Fitr from 6 pm to 9 pm at both the outlets in Karama and Garhoud. “Post 12+ hours of fasting, a proper feast is what each one expects, and our Menu hosts a range of starters like Jaituni Dahi Kebab, Mutton Gilafi or our top seller Papdi Chaat, that shall quicky satiate one’s cravings for flavorful food. Our Mains include popular Handi Biryanis, Dal Makhni & Korma’s /Kadai’s, that add up to the entire dining experience altogether”, said Eti Bhasin, Founder of Dhaba Lane. 

 

Table Otto

A melting pot of Italian and French cuisine Table Otto is a Kuwaiti based restaurant by popular Kuwaiti Chef Faisal AlNashimi.  The restaurant has introduced its special suhoor deal from 10 pm onwards in the Fashion Avenue of The Dubai Mall and Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi. Guests at Table Otto can choose from a selection of dishes such as the Zaatar Burrata, Pancakes, Middle Eastern Platter, feta crumb mix, seared olives with halloumi, baked falafel, pita bread and morning Flattread, which contains eggs, kale pesto, mozzarella, halloumi, sundried tomato, and pine nuts, as well as the Shakshuka which is made of flame roasted tomatoes, eggs, labneh, and sujuk, served with toasted bread. During Iftar, the restaurant is serving complimentary lentil soup and dates to all guests. Additionally, customers in Dubai and Abu Dhabi will be able to enjoy a whole Pecan Pie, available for delivery from Dubai Mall and take-away from Yas Mall in Abu Dhabi, a dessert bound to impress their guests at home.

Le Gourmet

Le Gourmet at Galeries Lafayette has launched two special services for customers this Ramadan. The curated Iftar menu allows diners to come together to break their fast with a wholesome and flavourful meal in a stunning setting. Start with traditional light starters such as dates, lentil soup, Fattoush salad and Hummus with freshly baked Arabic bread followed by a choice of main course that includes a hearty biryani, classic butter chicken, beef kofta and Shish Taouk, as well as Grilled Rosemary Chicken. Wrap up with delicious Arabic sweets prepared by Chef Dany Mouawad and your choice of Arabic coffee or Moroccan tea.This gourmet Iftar can be enjoyed when you dine-in from sunset or in the comfort of your home or office via Deliveroo every day during Ramadan. Allo Beirut

This Ramadan, our local favorite Lebanese restaurant Allo Beirut is serving warm and familiar flavors for Iftar. Guests will be taken on a culinary journey through Lebanon offering the best of soups, Ramadan beverages, traditional Lebanese Mezza and more. Available at all three dining outlets, Allo Beirut will open its doors for iftar at 7 pm. The iftar will be priced at AED 95 per person, including dates, tea and coffee, and Ramadan juices such as Jallab, Qamareddine, and much more.

Ibn Albahr

Ibn AlBahr brings an authentic touch to Ramadan’s dining experiences by offering a modern take on traditional Lebanese dishes. The award-winning restaurant has curated a delicious Iftar and Suhoor menu with an immersive traditional menu in the outdoor setting of Ibn AlBahr overlooking the Dubai coastline and Palm Jumeirah. Priced at Aed 180 per person, a variety of Lebanese delicacies features everyone’s favorite homemade dishes served in a lavish set menu. Guests can relish a variety of appetizers, soups, chef’s signature dishes, and a widespread of mains as well as a signature Ramadan beverage. The daily dishes include a Kibbet Samak Arnabiyeh or chicken and meat dishes available upon request. Families can unwind in the restaurant’s outdoor relaxation area, complete with warm settings and soft furnishings, while the kids play at the beach right outdoors. Bombay Bungalow

Offering a blend of cultured elegance this Ramadan Indian restaurant in JBR Bombay Bungalow, is offering an Iftar menu AED 110 per person including a selection of tea/ coffee and Suhoor menu AED 80 per person including a selection of coffee/ fresh juices. Both the menus are specially curated set served directly to the table for a family-style sharing experience. The Iftar menu is a culinary fusion of Middle Eastern cuisine combined with India’s favorite classic dishes. The Suhoor experience begins with a selection of Vegetable and feta cheese chapatti served with fresh and flavorsome varieties of hummus and chana masala. The chef’s special and a must try for all is the butter chicken omelette, an elevated version of the classic omelette dipped in butter chicken sauce promising sensory explosions of taste. Casual refined Italian eatery GIA introduced a quintessential Iftar menu with a focus on your most loved Italian flavors paired with art and style.  In the true spirit of Ramadan, the set menu concept is a great opportunity for families and friends to come together and create memorable moments while the food is brought to the table.  Hand crafted recipes and flavors that have been curated by the chef, his inspiration was found in traditional homemade dishes, creating a sumptuous culinary journey of the Italian cuisine.Guests will enjoy exceptional Iftar at AED 189 per person including a selection of dates and Ramadan beverages with a specially curated menu served directly to the table for a family-style sharing experience.

Caya, Sharjah

This Ramadan, Caya is set to bring an authentic touch to Ramadan’s dining experiences with its newest dining outlet located in Sharjah. Offering a modern take on traditional Mediterranean dishes with a flavorful twist on signature creations, the newly opened restaurant has created a delicious Iftar set menu and curated dishes for Suhoor. The iftar at caya is priced at AED 149 per person, including water and Ramadan beverages such as vimto, laban and much more. Designed to be shared, the set-menu contains rich dishes that blend Mediterranean spices and tastes along with international flavors. Adding to the traditional Levantine feast and offering a true Ramadan experience, guests can also enjoy the melodies of live oud music from 11 PM until 2 AM.

 

Habtoor Grand Resort, Autograph Collection

Experience a blend of heritage, tradition as the beachfront resort embraces the spirit of Ramadan and decks up into mini Bedouin tents with low cushion seating in the lobby along with traditional Arabic coffee and dates. Guests can soak in the tradition with its Arabic décor in the relaxed, outdoor setting of Olival Eatery & Bar. Luigia

Italian restaurant Luigia, located at the Rixos Premium in JBR, invites guests to celebrate the remaining days of the season and enjoy 11 new dishes added to the old favorites. A refreshed a la carte menu awaits guests looking to experience the best of Italy in Dubai. The selection is filled with traditional favorites and decadent dishes to satisfy all ages, from appetizers, salads, pasta, main course, and freshly baked classic and gourmet pizzas. Luigia is open daily, Monday to Friday from 5:30pm to 12midnight and Saturday and Sunday, from 12:30pm to 12:00midnight.

M One Restaurant

Guests  at M One Restaurant can indulge in a traditional Middle Eastern Iftar, all through Ramadan, from sunset to 9pm at just AED139 per person while kids between the age of 7 – 12 years can dine for just AED 49. A selection of hot and cold mezze as well as Ramadan juices and soft drinks will be available to begin the evening’s experience, with traditional Slow Roasted Lamb Ouzi making a star appearance as one of the Holy Month’s most quintessential dish. The Iftar special will also see live Shawarma and grill stations serving Fish, Shish Taouk, Kofta and marinated Prawns. For Suhoor Millennium Place Barsha Heights   set up a special pop-up at The Terrace, creating a perfect Arabic outdoor dining experience for the Holy Month from 10:00 pm until 3:00 am with offerings such as freshly baked homemade Manakish to live Shawarma and Arabic mixed grill stations. Awani

Known to draw inspiration from classic Levantine cuisine, Awani offers authentic flavours from the Arabian plate – with traces of modern-day fusion. The meticulously crafted set menu is priced at AED 165 per person, serving a delectable selection of soups, cold & hot mezza, main course and desserts. The menu includes nuts / dates and traditional Ramadan drinks. Located at The Dubai Mall and The Beach, JBR, Awani is all set to welcome you and serve some Arabian delicacies this Ramadan.

Circle Cafe

Circle Café welcomes the month of Ramadan with a culinary Iftar journey of Mediterranean flavours. A wholesome experience awaits guests with a range of contemporary, yet traditional specialties that will be offered for Iftar throughout the month of Ramadan. Priced at AED 69 per person, the three-course Iftar menu will be served daily from 12 pm onwards at all Circle Cafe outlets in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Featuring flavorful Mediterranean dishes, Circle Café offers a three-course Iftar menu with a selection of delectable dishes. Guests can break their fast with water and dates followed with heart-warming Lentil soup, Fattoush and platter consisting of a Fried Kibbeh, a meat samousa, and a cheese samousa.

Zaroob

This Ramadan, popular Middle Eastern street eatery, Zaroob, launched a special iftar and suhoor bundles for those looking for meals that taste a little bit like home. For an appetising iftar this holy month, diners have numerous options, ranging from oriental rice and meat to authentic Moloukhiya and chicken, as well as Koussa Warak Enab, Koshari, and Kabsa rice with shawarma. For AED 45, the iftar set menu includes dates, hummus, Fattoush, a main dish of your choice, and an assortment of delicious Ramadan sweets. Dine-in options, take-out and delivery will be available for the Iftar set menu. The restaurant has gone one step further this month by launching a limited edition one-metre-long menu. Diners can now relish in one-metre-long manoushe and shawarmas at the vibrantly lit restaurant. Starting at AED 69, you can enjoy a metre-long shawarma of your choice that is offered with a side of fries, pickles and dips. Manoushe lovers can opt for the metre-long manoushe priced at AED 69 which includes some popular favourite flavours including Zaatar, Akkawi cheese, Kashkaval cheese, Soujok, Lahm Baajin and Kofta.
