REDTAG’s ‘Instant Gifts’ initiative celebrates the customer-brand relationship

November 30, 2021 | By 123

There is a timeless quote: “Every gift from a friend is a wish for your happiness”. It rings true to this day, and more so in light of how little time we sometimes get to spend on our relationships with people. For a customer-facing businesses, particularly in retail, there is a need to forge strong, long-term relationships with shoppers. REDTAG’s ‘Instant Gifts’ policy reflects the ambition, vision and philosophy behind its #WearASmile customer engagement initiative: “To delight our customers through an exceptional experience and be the most engaged brand”; and is one of the brand promises within its #WearASmile campaign.

REDTAG is the only value fashion retailer in the GCC region to launch this one-of-a-kind initiative. The ‘Instant Gift’ adds a pleasant surprise to customers’ retail experience and celebrates their continued patronage. Any customer spending AED/SAR 1000 on a single purchase will receive a gift instantly, as a gesture of appreciation for their loyalty to REDTAG. It’s also the brand’s way of saying thank you for the happiness that customers have brought to REDTAG’s store teams.

The gifts are carefully curated and sourced from across the region. Available across all of REDTAG stores in the Middle East, Instant Gifts range from exquisite perfumes to locally crafted homeware to quality accessories and much more. The rationale for giving gifts, according to REDTAG, is that it is a form of self-gratification, by doing thoughtful in response to the customer’s sizable purchase. In other words, customer-centric brands like REDTAG believe that giving always tells us more about the giver, than the receiver.

Customer-centricity is a gift that keeps on giving. The idea of “giving back” to the customers is embodied in all of REDTAG’s existing and specialized initiatives. Besides ‘Instant Gifts’, its much-touted #WearASmile campaign consists of four more initiatives, namely ‘Anytime-Anywhere Exchange’, ‘Personal Stylist’, ‘Find Your Size’, and ‘Free Home Delivery’. All these initiatives saw REDTAG go the extra mile for customers while staying true to its motto of combining great prices and unparalleled quality with outstanding service, all year long. Alongside, REDTAG has continued to keep pace with local and global trends, enhance brand accessibility, and keep affordability in check.

With ‘Instant Gifts’, REDTAG is adding a personal touch to its customer engagement. These gifts will become a part of customers’ daily lives, serving as a reminder of REDTAG’s thoughtful gesture. It will go a long way to enhance the perception of the brand among its target audience, and it is this perception that customer-focused retailers like REDTAG bank on. So, in giving customers an instant gift, REDTAG is giving itself a gift of customer-centricity — one that keeps on giving.
