Robinsons at Dubai Festival City Mall is all set to celebrate Dubai Food Festival. The department store will host a series of complimentary cooking classes and activities for kids on March 9.

Origami, the Japanese fusion restaurant in Robinsons, will offer parents and children alike, the opportunity to train under executive chef, Dave Mangiliman. Taking place every half an hour from 2-4pm, this one-of-a-kind experience promises to leave shoppers feeling like the next MasterChef.

Located on the second floor, the cooking station will see children from the ages 7-14 create a selection of mouth-watering dishes. Judged by Mangiliman, each round will see one lucky participant walk away with a fantastic prize.

In addition, Robinsons will offer 25% to 40% off on all cooking and dining collections in-store. It is also running a promotion from now until March 9, whereby any shopper who spends AED800 or more on homeware in-store, can enjoy a delicious lunch or scrumptious dinner for two at Origami.

Shoppers can also dine at French restaurant Big Fernand Dubai, located at the entrance of Robinsons, on the ground floor. With a giant terrace, in an enchanting woody setting, foodies can admire Dubai Festival City Mall’s IMAGINE light show as the restaurant is situated in front of the fountain.
