Saudi fashion brand Lomar is going from strength to strength

Founded in 2005, Lomar is a well-known Saudi brand with over 22 years of influence and elegance. Pioneering the thobe revolution in KSA, Lomar’s contemporary designs connect the past with the future. Under the leadership of Founder, Loai Naseem; Chairman, Ghassan Alsulaiman and CEO, Rami Awad Lomar has gone from strength to strength.

The brand started as a home production with only one tailor and then over the years keeping its commitment alive the brand in 2010, opened a factory with 250 tailors, quality control checks stages and storage rooms, with a total capacity of 90,000 garments per year. Lomar also began to expand into a wider selection of products along its statement thobes to include abayas, corporate uniform tailoring, accessories, perfumes and even a furniture collection.

Today, with a strong commitment and constant development, Lomar is proud to have reached a total capacity of 160,000 garments per year. The factory comprises of auto-leaser-cutting machines, fabric inspection and quality check system (Four Point System) along with comprehensive production stages. There are 12+ Lomar stores in KSA and the brand plans to open a few more stores in 2024, alongside strengthening its already robust e-commerce presence.

A quick look at some key milestones achieved by Lomar over the last few years:

  • Lomar was one of the main sponsors of the Italy Super Cup, which was held in Jeddah in 2019. Lomar had introduced the traditional Saudi wear (thobe) as gifts to the players.
  • In 2022, Lomar was selected by the Saudi Fashion Commission as one of the 100 Saudi Brands to participate in a one-year programme that aims to export products and merchandise that were made in Saudi to reflect the culture and heritage globally.
  • Lomar won first place at the National Culture Award in the Fashion Sector, 2021 handed by the Ministry of Culture.
