A recent study, commissioned by US-based exhibition company dmg :: events and conducted by  UAE-based Ventures Middle East has confirmed Saudi Arabia as the fastest growing market in the GCC for the interiors and fit-out industry with an estimated value of $3.4 billion in 2013 and growing by 35% as compared to 2012.

These trends will be highlighted at the International Design Exhibition (INDEX) to be held in Saudi Arabia on November 12–14, 2013. The second edition of the interiors and design expo INDEX KSA will take place at the Jeddah Centre for Forums and Events and is supported by the Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

INDEX KSA 2013 will cover sectors from lighting and textiles, to kitchen & bathroom and outdoor, including sections dedicated to retail, office, educational, medical and hospitality solutions. An area of the exhibition will be converted into an art gallery where Saudi Arabian and regional artists will showcase their work. New features that have been introduced for the second edition also include an interior design competition open to interior design and architecture professionals in Saudi Arabia, and a self-guided ’trend tour’ that will pinpoint the most interesting products displayed at the show.

“We wanted to enhance our exhibitor and visitor experience and INDEX KSA 2013 will be more than just an exhibition; it will facilitate business interaction, gives the opportunity to expand and strengthen professional networks and provide inspiration for  interior and exterior design projects,” says Alaa Al Ush, project manager, INDEX Saudi Arabia.
