Silsal and Zayan the Label create a limited-edition candle for Eid Al Fitr

Merging the worlds of fashion and lifestyle design, creative homeware brand, Silsal has announced a new collaboration with Zayan the Label, a contemporary fashion label known for its story-telling collections and embroidered designs. Together, the two Dubai-based design houses have joined forces to produce the limited edition Wurood Candle, marking the occasion of Eid Al Fitr. The result is a stylish celebration of fashion and fragrance, exuding playful elegance and contemporary cool.

Encased in a porcelain holder, this exclusive design features a parade of Arabic letters. Each is adorned with embroidered florals in striking hues of red, blue and yellow – a signature detail in Zayan The Label’s colourful collections. Combining the whimsical femininity of Zayan the Label with Silsal’s signature style and craftsmanship, the decorative vessel is finished with a lavish rim of 22K gold.

The scented candle also debuts a brand new Silsal fragrance. Effortlessly energising, Wurood opens with sparkling notes of white grapefruit, before revealing a floral heart of orange blossom, balanced with intertwining notes of geranium. The fresh-meets-floral scent makes a unique addition to Silsal’s growing line of exquisite and refreshingly original home fragrances, which celebrate precious memories and treasured moments, transforming rooms with their distinctive aromas.

Hand-poured in Dubai using 100% natural wax and the finest oils, the Wurood Candle features two pure cotton wicks, to ensure even burn and a stronger scent reach. Once the candle is gone, the vessel can be reused as a vase or trinket bowl. Beautifully packaged in a signature gift box, it makes for the perfect gift.

“I’m a huge believer that scent is linked to mood and Wurood was designed to uplift and inspire. We are honoured that Zayan and her team went on this journey with us – the collaboration occupies a really exciting space where fashion and design meet and has injected a fun, sartorial style into our home fragrance line,” says Samar Habayeb, CEO and creative director, Silsal.

“I am an avid scented-candles collector and lover of all things quirky, such as the fun home accessories and lifestyle items that Silsal creates. So, teaming up with Silsal to create this gorgeous candle was a dream come true. Wurood is truly the ultimate gift for a discerning hostess with an eye for pretty details and a nose for delicate scents,” adds Zayan Ghandour, founder of Zayan the Label.

The Wurood Candle will be available online from silsal.com and zayanthelabel.com, as well as in store at Silsal’s D3 Showroom, Zayan the Label in Galleria Mall, sauce at Four Seasons Dubai and sauce at W Resort The Palm.
